FRLS provides advice and legal representation in education matters for low-income parents, caregivers, and students in Palm Beach County.
Funded in part by the Children's Services Council, our attorneys work to assist Palm Beach County families navigate educational legal issues.
We offer legal help with:
- Barriers and access to school enrollment
- Long-term suspension, expulsion, and alternative school placements
- Discrimination and harassment
- Behavior plans and discipline
- Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans
- Evaluations
- Eligibility disputes
