(RIVIERA BEACH, Fla.) - Florida Rural Legal Services (FRLS), a non-profit law firm dedicated to providing legal aid to underserved communities, recently held a series of "Legal at the Library" workshops aimed at addressing tenants' rights issues. The workshops, held at the Riviera Beach Public Library on Monday, April 15, and Wednesday, April 24, offered valuable guidance and assistance to individuals facing public benefits and housing-related legal challenges.
During the sessions, attendees had the opportunity to engage with experienced attorneys from FRLS, who provided insights into Florida Housing Law, with a specific focus on tenants' rights. Topics covered included eviction prevention strategies, understanding lease agreements, addressing housing discrimination, and resolving landlord-tenant disputes.
