(WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.) - Taniquea Reid, a seasoned attorney with a dedication to justice, has been named the Vice President of the Board of Directors at Florida Rural Legal Services (FRLS), a non-profit law firm committed to providing legal assistance to underserved communities in 14 counties throughout Florida and migrants statewide.

Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Reid's upbringing instilled in her a profound passion for law and advocacy, particularly for those facing adversity and in need of legal support.

Reid's journey towards leadership at FRLS is marked by academic excellence and a strong commitment to service. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from St. Thomas University - School of Law, graduating Cum Laude. During her time in law school, Reid distinguished herself as a participant in the Pax/Romana United Nations Internship, where she served as the Student Advisor for the Mission of Trinidad and Tobago.

In her professional career, Reid has built a reputation as a formidable advocate, known for her assertiveness and unwavering advocacy on behalf of her clients.
