The significance of these clinics extends beyond legal matters; they play a pivotal role in empowering victims and fostering a community free from fear and violence. FRLS recognizes that everyone deserves to be safe, and through this initiative, they are working towards ensuring that individuals have the resources they need to break free from abusive situations.

The Florida legal system can be a lifeline for those seeking to stop abuse and protect themselves from violence.

FRLS encourages victims of violence, or those who anticipate becoming victims, to report incidents to the police and reach out to them for assistance. With their support, individuals can obtain the necessary legal tools, such as injunctions, to secure their safety and peace of mind.

This series of family law clinics is a testament to FRLS's commitment to serving the community and addressing the unique legal needs of victims of crime.

By offering these services on a consistent basis, they are not only providing immediate assistance but also contributing to the long-term well-being of those they serve.

"As the first clinic unfolds on January 22, FRLS invites the community to take advantage of this invaluable resource," said Outreach Director Sueanna Jones, Esq. "Together, let us create a safer, more just society where everyone can live without fear of violence. Florida Rural Legal Services stands as a beacon of hope, guiding victims towards a brighter and more secure future."
