(FORT MYERS, Fla.) - Florida Rural Legal Services, Inc. launched a new webpage to help communities across the southwest region of Florida understand how to access disaster relief after Hurricane Ian pummeled the area and left destruction in its path.

The Hurricane Ian Disaster Relief Resource Page, https://www.frls.org/hurricane-ian-relief, is an easily accessible webpage that helps residents learn about disaster relief and assistance possibly available to them.

“Since Hurricane Ian made landfall, Florida Rural LegalServices has made a clear commitment to inform our most vulnerable communities of resources afforded to them in the wake of the deadly hurricane,” said Denise Sawyer, communications director of FRLS. “This webpage is designed as a one-stop shop to equip those impacted with the tools they need to rebuild,
recover and refuel.”

FRLS integrates timely information from local, state andfederal agencies, including information about Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), disaster unemployment, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) assistance, tenant rights after a natural disaster, and much more.
